The Anaamalais Group made its foray into consumer goods vertical with the launch of packaged food products. In the year of 2021 it launched its packaged snack product "Wild Date". The state of the art plant is located in Trichy which is the epicenter of Tamilnadu. The facility is spread across 20,157 square feet of land.

The latest machineries for the processing and packaging of the snack product has been used. The plant includes continuous automatic fryers and automatic packaging machines with minimal human interference. The group is looking to target both the domestic market and the export market as well. It's well spanned out distribution network is one of the main strengths of the group. It's product portfolio includes an array of South Indian snack products like Granola, Energy Bar and Choco Gift Hamper. Care has been taken to procure the best raw materials to ensure consistency in taste and quality. It is well equipped with a chemical and a microbiological lab and every batch is tested before being packed. The food division of the Anaamalais Group is operated under its group company "The Good Food Company". It has future plans to get into the different segments of the food industry as well.
